Perchloroethylene (or “perchlor”) is a chlorinated solvent that cleaning and manufacturing plants use in several cleaning processes and other applications. The solvent-grade perchloroethylene is ideal for vapor degreasing, where it can help remove grease, oils, and other contaminants from metals and more. Perchloroethylene is ASTM 4376 aerospace-approved for manufacturing applications. It is also available in a heavy-duty grade to tackle some of the toughest degreasing conditions.
